Yeah! Welcome to my new weekly series! I am so excited because this is actually a "secret" resolution for the year, not just for me, but for my husband. I, myself, DO NOT feel like the most beautiful woman/wife/mother. But it's hard to believe when you don't believe it yourself.
So in this "series" each week I will focus on one part of the body/feature and share what I think about it, how I can make myself feel better about it, do something about it by posting how-to's or tutorials, my favorite fashion pin from Pinterest that week. Follow "My Style" on Pinterest if you're a big girl.
I hope ya'll enjoy it and share your insecurities or what you love about your body as well. If you're interested, check out this artile I read on Glamor.com

Week 1: HAIR
Okay, when I think about my younger years, as a little girl, and my mother making braids in our hair nearly everyday for school and usually ended with either my sister or I in tears! She also permed my hair twice before middle school and I permed it once after my first baby. I have never dyed or straightened it, but I do and have used a curling iron. The only time I do fix my hair is for Church on Sunday, Date Night or when I just feel pretty! lol
I want to put my hair up this weekend, and I'll post pics on my Fan Page. Feel free to share your favorite easy hair styles with me so I can try them out!
Question of the Week:
What is your "EVERY-DAY" hair style and what do you wish was your every-day hair style?
My every-day hair is a bun or high-bun :( I soooooo wish I could do the "Snooki" bump! I've tried and failed. I even bought a bumpit and it still didn't work!

I Love the Double Twist Bun style! I wish I was good with my hair. I usually just wear it straight. *sigh* Maybe I will have to start experimenting
ReplyDeleteI'll have to check that out! Thanks for stopping by!

My daughter is a hairstylist so I feel a lot of pressure to have great hair. Unfortunately I am mirror-challenged. I just can't watch myself use a flat iron in the mirror and do it right! LOL. I have a layered look right now, and even though I'm probably too old for the style, I'd love to make it all perky like Alice in Twilight. There I said it. Twilight. Somewhere my 20-something kids are rolling their eyes. . .
ReplyDeletelol Yeah, I got layers too. Sounds doable.
